I don't know why the cop is so shocked that the marijuana is right next to food in the cabinet that the kids may eat, it's not poison even if it SOMEHOW contaminated the food! If he saw a wine bottle or liquor of any kind there, he wouldn't even mention it obviously although alcohol kills thousands of people every year while marijuana never has.
