Its a saved game that I put on my Xbox using Action replay, it allows master chief in halo 2 to have no gun. The save is commonly known as Hudless because it also removes your hud and enables you to make machinima like the one above.

Its the hudless gametype which you can get with action replay. It removes your hud and give the camera effect.

and if it is how did you get the video onto the computer without using a digital camera or a video camera?

No hudless is for halo 2. In halo 3 I use theater to remove the hud. I use a Pinnacle 700 USB capture card which captures video from the xbox to my PC.
