@NyuxSaysxNyu Kudasai is indeed please, but on the other hand so is O-negai shimasu (spelled correctly).

at first i thought writing hiragana will be a bit hard..but i learned arabic alphabets..its kinda same with the strokes..im so lucky that ive learned arabic before..:)

Excuse my dumb question lol, but i just got rosetta stone and i'm trying to learn Japanese. I just started learning to write the alphabet (hiragana) a few hours ago and for some reason i started wondering if there were lowercase and uppercase in hiragana or any other alphabet in japanese? I didn't think there were but i don't want to study all these that i have written down and then realize that there is a whole different character for each one.

@Bobotightypants Yes, we have small alphabets. や、ゆ、よ、つ、あ、い、う、え、お. For example; TODAY きょう(今日). We have HIRAGANA, KATAKANA, KANJI and their combinations...
