oops just hit spam instead of reply sorry! The airport express can be set up to extend a network that should increase range and thus network signal. I find it does help do this. It also is very convienient. Thanks for the question!

does the apple tv remote work with a macbook like how it goes to the different menu where it plays music, videos, pics, and dvd?

It should work with any Mac, although you may need to change a setting in the security panel if it doesn't under the pairing options.

Nice, I bought the G airport express about a month before they were updated. My main router is N. All of are G laptops use the airport express, and for my macbook pro I use the N router. That way my network is not slowed down when my brother and dad are on the network.
