  • hey bro, nice bike! I have the same pipes and i am running a PCIII. I still have slight popping on decel just under the 2K mark. (New gaskets, so no leaks there)

Did you do a custom map? if so, can you share with me. By the way, the video does not do these pipes justice. These pipes are SERIOUSLY LOUD! Almost too loud! Thanx in advance and nice bike

  • @rcjhouston

Had a Power Commander fitted by the Suzuki dealer and they mapped it on the Dyno - took about 3 hours. Tuned to the exhaust. Runs like a dream - no popping. I had small baffles put in the pipes to take the edge off it. Used to give me a headache.

  • Will this bike beat a Harley in a race??

  • I've owned 3 Harleys & they wouldn't see which way this bike went.

  • Hey! What model exactly are those piepes ?

  • "Hardkrome Strippers from US."

  • @JACKSONAXER Short answer.Yes.

  • @JACKSONAXER Yes.

  • thanx bro for replying. I redid my pipes and the dealer did not use new crush gaskets and it was leaking at the rear head! They also stripped out my exhaust bolt heads. I fixed it and no popping at all on decel. Cheers and have a great week

  • @rcjhouston After the Workshop dyno tune, ran great. I took the bike to a bike exhaust specialist & they hand made a couple of small baffles which they welded in. Can't see them & they took the rough edge off the sound. No ringing in the ears now.

  • @diver4818 Thanx for the reply! I think i need to do the same thing. I tried programming my pciii myself and got it pretty close. A few dyno hours is just what i need. I think that will stop the little pops i have on decel. I looked at my baffles and they are welded in. The only repalcement types i have found are straight pipes and for racing only. I am curious at to what you did baffle wise. Thanx again for taking the time to reply.
