Spotted Pony.wmv

Spotted Pony is an old fiddle tune I recently learned during our oldtime music night at the saloon. Its a fun tune to play and quite a toe tapper.. This is an old tune based from my understanding on the rare British Spotted Pony. As near as I can see, it was first played around the 1840's - but I do not know the accuracy of that as there are two tunes called Spotted Pony which are quite different. This one is related to and sometimes also known as "Snowshoe"
