Storm Akima Dragon 2011

Here is progress of my Toothless black dragon quad-suit. I had it 85% finished for Otakon 2011, but unfortunately didn't make time to premiere him! He traveled to Baltimore, & was my bunk buddy for the weekend, LOL. Armored Alphonse & automail Ed were such a big hit, I decided to concentrate on networking with them since Toothess wasn't 100% complete.

I am selling the head, so feel free to contact me for more information. I put months of labor & money into this head (at least $350 for materials alone). The mechanics & neck joint are included.

I started creating my massive cosplay dragon last year for Otakon 2010, but due to time & money, I had to discontinue production for a while.
The head came out absolutely beautiful & I couldn't be happier with the results! The movable jaw moves very fluidly, snaps shut & opens extrememly wide! Everything on the head was custom built by me, so it's built for durability & should last a long, long time!

Not the whole costume though! I'm going to remake the head since I have another idea *face palm* on how to construct it. I went a different route than what we discussed awhile back & decided to use PVC all throughout the head with some batting over it. It works great, but I love your idea even better so... back to square one for me! At least the body is almost complete, lol. Thanks for all your help too!!!

This looks great! And the mechanism for the rotating head is really unique I might have to "borrow" it for a future quadsuit xD (if you don't mind of course)
