So, I'm wondering if it's necessary to have quilt binding cut on the diagonal if you're just binding a straight edge quilt like this one. I know some of the binding tools are designed so that they can be cut that way, but I don't see that it's necessary for straight edges. (I use bias tape in clothes making, so I am familiar with working with it.)
I love the quack in the intro. Thanks for a great tutorial. I appreciate the suggestions for the spray and the steam and the needle threader- oh and the great stitch! So much info!

@MEStephKJV It is totally not necessary. I only use bias binding if I am binding on a curve.
