Urcjrewcords, Calaverasgrande - Don't agree - this Killing Joke album is good - not the best more mild but not shit. Grunge had to happen and produced a lot of shit as well. Without the Pistols, Clash, Iggy, Killing Joke, Sonic Youth etc. USA Grunge Scene would never have happen. Plain and simple. Nirvana I actually don't mind but KJ was first and best. Oh, Punk Like Green Day makes me ill. A case of Clash first and better. Thank God for the Brits.

Soft punk has been round since the mid Seventies. Listen to Siouxsie Sioux & the, for example.

the beauty of killing joke is that they can make so many differant styles of songs but they always sound like killing joke!! a very special band indeed

I've always really liked this album, but this song is so soppy it sounds as if Dollar ought to be singing it. I can just imagine David Van Day and Therese wossname warbling "down from the hills, into the forest, walking on sand, into the water..." - it's a long way from "We Have Joy".

@gagarin001 are you out of your mind? the first punk band is the ramones(1970) , after, dead kennedys, bad religion, bad brains, black flag, etc etc etc all in the late seventies (1976-77-78-79), and a far way better than your fucking pop-rock-selling out-commercial band the clash or the pistols
