London-based design studio (and previous CR One To Watch) Accept & Proceed has just unveiled new work for Nike: the creation of a new mark to signify Nike Football Training...
The new mark, known as the Nike HyperCube will be used to signify Nike Football Training and will be applied to all football training related products and materials from now on. While the mark will mostly appear in just two dimensions printed onto products, the design of the mark was conceived in more dimensions - two more, according to Accept & Proceed's David Johnston: "The HyperCube is based on fourth dimensionalism," he tells us. "Arsene Wenger describes the four factors making up a great football pler as being Technical, Physical, Tactical and Mental. To represent this idea the mark itself is made up of a four dimensional tetrahedron."
Johnston sent us this animation to demonstrate the concept behind the mark's design.
