This is Rolf Harris isn't it?

When I first heard the song, I thought it was about having sex with sheep. "His Billy boiled" - he had an erection. "Jolly", as in "jolly roger"... "Put a jumback in his tucker bag" - it's as if he put his penis in a bag. I think the song made more sense before I verified the actual meanings of Australian words used in the song xP But seriously, nice song :)

Believe it or not this song was taught to me in Elementary school in the 60's....in south Central Los Angeles. I never forgot it. My siblings and I would go home and teach each other great international folk songs taught to us by some wonderful teachers who I remember fondly and still miss some 40+ years later.

how do you fit a jumbuck in your tuckerbag?
Nothing makes you feel as patriotic and proud of your country than a song about a Hobo who names his bag Matilda...
Ah... it's great to be Australian.
