EXPLOSION!!!!

Setting the bead of a tire using a small ignition. This is not a tire shop nor a regular practice. It was an emergency stop at home and I decided to record it to show how to do this in case you need to do same.

You can just wrap a rope or cable around the middle of the tire and tighten it. That usually makes the bead set. I know it doesn't look so cool.

I work on tires( for 30 yrs) and every year some poor idiot who thinks that is safe loses a hand, arm or his head. Look on line for statistics-the people it happens to rarely make more that 8 bucks an hour. OSHA would love to know your name!
