After watching this interview, I was actually influenced to read "1984."

But on the contrary I found it really interesting and relevant, in contrast to what he thought was a "boring political book" when he was younger. Lots of themes are connected to the Resistance.

Imo it's def a classic everyone should read....

The Resistance against the police the governments and the military, I also really agree with him in this point.

I mean look at Egypt and now Lybia and what´t happening there, was in my opinion just time to happen. It just had to.

@MuseToYourEars I've planned a while ago to get into Animal Farm, and I think my mother bought it lately, so here it comes :)

@spidercoco33 Definitely, have you read Orwell's other books? I did an assignment on them, they were all so insightful. 1984 is the most famous, but novels like Animal Farm and Burmese Days are really good too.

@MuseToYourEars Actually Matt made me read it :) This book is merely amazing, I drifted away from our world and really got into this alarming dystopia. Orwell did a great job describing his world.
