this was recorded in Suez Canal we were heading north after the hostages were released from Iran and just before the Embassy in Lebanon was bombed this was during 1980 President Reagan's first year in office. Capt C.S.Smith commanding.
when asked, "What do we do if we're attacked while transiting the Suez Canal?".
the captain replied, "WE KICK ASS and PRESS ON." which became our battle cry, or just "KAPO"

I was on America from 94-96. Went thru the Suez Canal two times. Great times.
