I think it would be really neat if comedy was still a regular feature of the Grand Ole Opry. Of course the main focus always has been, and always should be, good country music. Still, including country comedians like Minnie Pearl increased the variety of entertainment that the Opry had to offer.

There are others filling their shoes, but they don't get radio play. Clearchannel, who owns most of the radio stations in this country, only allows "safe" music. Check out Justin Townes Earle, Buddy and Julie Miller, and Tiff Merritt.

I agree with Willie, and I feel that Hawkshaw Hawkins and Cowboy Copas should be inducted into the Hall Of Fame also.
