James Potter and the Curse of the Gatekeeper, the second adventure in the James Potter film series, is a much-anticipated fan film event that will cover most of Mr. Lippers second James Potter book and will start at the beginning of James' second school year at Hogwarts, and end at the end of James' second year.

With the loss of his Grandfather and the moving away of a close friend (Zane), the new school year begins for James Potter and questions fill the air. Somewhere in this world there is a bloodline to Voldemort and James and his friends feel the need to find it and stop it. As questions also rise about the new headmaster, Merlin, an increasing fear of a of an old legend leads people to believe that Merlin is indeed evil and involved in this legend of the Gatekeeper. This new tale brings along new characters into the story. James find that along with sloving the mistery of the so called Gatekeeper, he must also keep his brother, Albus, from getting mixed up with the wrong people. A Slytherin named Tabitha Corisca (whom James hates) gains a liking for Albus which tares James apart and begins to separate the two brothers. As the year progresses on James along with the help of some old friends (Ralph and Zane) and some new ones, (Rose) must learn more about the bloodline of Voldemort, find who it is and figure out where their loyalties lie and if the bloodline is indeed conected to the Gatekeeper. This could be the key to everything.

"James Potter and the Cures of the Gatekeeper is based on the novel by G. Norman Lippert and is directed and produced by Kellen Gibbs who also directed and produced the first James Potter film, "James Potter and the Hall of Elders' Crossing". Scores for the film are by Isaias Garcia who will be joining the crew again for this second installment.

Heading the cast, Matthew Mounteer, Jonathon Vandorhorst, and Jack Fletcher will reprise their roles as James, Ralph and Zane while actress Robin Olson will take on the new role of Rose Weasley.

The films cast also inclued Jess Gibbs, Megan Donaghy, Wyile Barnett, Michelle Croizer, Rhyan Sanders, Peter Mounteer, Jack Fletcher, Whitney Gibbs, Richard Forman, John Thibeau, Kayla Cromer, Madison Donaghy, and many more.

K.G. Studios Presents "James Potter and the Curse of the Gatekeeper", the second installment to the James Potter Series. The adventure continues February 26th, 2011.

  • imagine if these guys has had the budget and offical permission to make this, I wouldn't just want to see it, id want to get involved as a student of film who specialises videographer/director and editor(which means when i say this is good people should known im rightXD) but more importantly as a massive harry potter fan,

and may I just say only 3minutes 40 seconds in that your script is fantastic, I also like your cinematography bro's keep up the good work

  • @scaldash Thank you so much! These are the comments that drive us in continuing to make movies.

  • Isn't the Bloodline the whole plot of the film and the Book? I'm not sure I understand Setefuri comment but to each his own...Is there a Sound Track for this movie I can get somewhere, and if so where? Outstanding Film, one of the very best movies I have seen on Youtube. Three Thumbs up to all involved. Great job.

  • is this true....

  • Awesome

  • Im so sorry but what the Fuck did i just watch !!!

  • Whoever plays "Merlin" is a god awful actor. They couldn't find ANY better? Seriously? He completely kills any feining interest I had for this. Other than that.. For a low budget production.. Good job, honestly. The kid who plays James isn't terrible. Rose is, however, eq...ually just as bad as Merlin.

  • Just like "Dr Zhivago", there fallowed a lot of "loser, low, budget" knock off's & spin off's, like "Nicholas & Alexandra",etc. Well, since the producer, director, and others on this project have limited talent in their various films & script writing. I think your just "Band Wagon Jumpers" and really riding on the coat tails of R.J.Rowling's genius. I refuse to support this in anyway, and will do all in my power to destroy whatever sales & theater viewings I can.

  • @Gryffindorwins Cool story bro

  • U are a shame to the JP books u fucking losers

  • U guys fucking suck at this , good luck , if only WB could make this u losers would be shamed , because people would search for the trailer find ur crap and compare it to Awesomness

  • Albus should be the one who it's a ll centered around, and I don't want to be rude, but this is not something that I would watch, but I respect that other people do like it. I can see you put alot of hard work into it though.

  • @KnittedBadge I am speaking my opinion...and I do not like this one bit. Also i doubt that J.K Rowling actually said that. And I don't think this is good at all...but i do think they must of worked hard on it and for your information i am not hating by saying this video was a disgrace.
