My first Chinese teacher explained the character for hao - good this way. She said the left part represents a woman. You can imagine it as a woman kneeling because women were subservient in ancient China or it can represent a woman's breast.
The right part of the character represents a baby wrapped in a blanket, waving his or her little arms around.
So it's a woman with her baby, and for a mother to be with her baby is good.
A story always helped me to remember a character.

If you didn't fix your audio problem yet: remember to close every application that you don't need before you make a video. This will give the computer more processing power to work on your video instead of wasting it on other programs. Hopefully this will sync the sound to the video.
