Jeep 4.0L Alternator Replacement

I noticed the pully on my alt doesn't spin as freely as my ac compressor...Do you think i should go ahead and replace it?

@honeybunch2k6 I don't believe a new alternator would spin as freely. Is it making noise?

i have a 95 v6 sport and im having problems taking out the alternator, however it has two mounts in the bottom. ive taken out one mount but the other im not too sure how to remove, any tips?

I used this video to swap out an alternator for a 98 TJ in a hotel parking lot. yes its only a video but this video made the process easy with good video and instructions.

thanks first jeep needed a hand great tutorial well explained now i just need to find out why my jeep has the motor rattle sound after i changed the oil

@Jennybear2003 that's where I got mine. There are two alternators. One is the standard amperage and one is the extra output. They both should fit, but I only have experience with the standard one. You may double-check to see if they didn't sell you the wrong one. Like for the V8 or something.
