In mid-August 2005, during Elkie Brooks' tour, her band visited Classic T Stage, located at Shepperton Film Studios in Surrey to perform live in session and record as the cameras roll.

The session, filmed over several days, captures Elkie Brooks re-recording many of her greatest hits and a collection of new material.

Well said 'Dalyarfur' she is certainly over looked and just not recognised for the true quality that she is. Until recently British female singers have had a bit of a rough ride, few (like Dusty and Lulu) are still acknowledged as greats but most just disregarded. Elkie is indeed one of our greatest and still producing damn good music - Electric Lady is a supurb album by any standards.
