Ugh, had to re-render this twice OTL 5 hours each time, so that was pleasant.
The idea for this story came from a video I watched (it will be listed) but to be honest, this video has nothing to do with that one :'D It just inspired me when I heard the audio of "Open your eyes" said by Kagome, because Inuyasha said the same thing in another episode. So, my idea was just to start the video with Kagome saying it and end it with Inuyasha saying it. But things got complicated :'D So here you go! Enjoy!

Plot:
Kagome kills Inuyasha when she is being controlled by a demon. Kikyo appears and gives Kagome a jewel shard to bring him back because she wished to be the one to kill him with her own hands. When Inuyasha opens his eyes, they are blood red, and suddenly Kagome is flooded with memories from her previous life.

Kikyo Story:
Kikyo is very wary of Inuyasha and constantly threatened to kill him, but eventually the half-demon gained her trust. She is still a little bit uncertain of him. Sometimes he seems like a completely different person. But when he asks her to come to river with him, she doesn't hesitate to do so. He suggests that they go swimming and Kikyo starts to wade in. She stops for a moment, a little bit nervous, and takes a step back. All she remembers after that is blood red eyes and a hand forcing her under.

Inuyasha's Story:
After 'killing' Kikyo, all he can think about is her. He has nightmares about hurting her and eventually lapses over into a depression.
Then one day he sees the priestess wandering around outside. He runs and chases her, but she is wary of him because he is still in his demon form. She tells him she doesn't want anything to do with him and that he should go. In anger, he chases her down and attacks her. They fight, both terribly wounded, before Kikyo chooses to leave. The next day she shoots him down with her arrow and pins him in eternal sleep out of pity, losing her life in the process.

Kagome's Story:
While reliving her past, she remembers meeting Inuyasha for the first time and freeing him from the tree. She recalls how much her and the half demon loved each other, how much time they spent, but can not get over what had happened to them in her last life.
When Inuyasha wakes up, barely suppressing his rage to rip out Kikyo's throat, he looks at Kagome with blood red eyes and it's then and there that Kagome decides to leave him.

Their Story:
Inuyasha is surrounded by memories he had suppressed for years that were being pulled to the surface by the jewel shard in his system. He remembers killing Kikyo, her blood on his claws, he remembers waking up to Kagome for the first time when she saved him from being pinned to the tree. He decides to try and persuade her to come back to him, but she yells at him in anger over what he has done, so he leaves her, but can't help looking over his shoulder before running into the distance.
A few nights later he appears out of nowhere and forces Kagome into a desperate embrace. His eyes glow crimson as he whispers into her ear "I'm going to kill you."
He proceeds to chase her and injuries her severely. He is about to finish her off when he sees the angry tears in her eyes, so much like Kikyo's, and begins to fight his demon nature as memories of Kagome flood to him.
In the end, he loses his internal fight and pushes Kagome over the edge. As she's falling into the blackness he finally snaps out of it and goes to her body, crying out for her to open her eyes or speak. Kikyo appears behind him, but he hears her. Instead of attacking, he slowly closes his eyes as Kikyo lets go of an arrow and silences the story where it stands.

heavy is right! this is just...wow. I'm a total drama freak, and as incredibally [spelling sucks...] tragic as this is, I LOVED it! I also loved the song and the artist. Florence + Machine is one of my fav ones. But wait, where did you get the audio quote at the end with Inuyasha saying 'Even though it ended like this, I still love you' I don't remember him saying that anywhere in the series, and I'd love to know what episode it's from ^^

@InuSaria14 pretty sure its from episode 148...its kikyo and inuyasha's past :b when inuyasha is dying after kikyo pinned him, he thinks that, but it gets cut off and he falls into his 50 year sleep
