@andbudzi Yeah sure it is. Try this test with an '12 Camry and see what happens. In fact, Motor Magazine already did. In all trim levels, the Camry destroyed the Sonata. Don't take my word for it....look it up.

The Sonata 2.4L doesn't have turbo. Are you confusing it with the 2.0L Turbo trims on the Sonata SE and Limited?

@cfny That was the 2.4 liter GDi Sonata and the 2.5 Camry...Neither of the cars were turbocharged.

@suni005 he talks about poor road conditions which is wet; camry and sonata switched lanes several times for an accurate test result. camry is little bit faster than sonata at few seconds of start, but sonata pushes better after its 2nd and 3rd gear engage.
