Screencasting how-to (CamStudio)

I'm having a problem with CamStudio. Can someone assist me? I try to record for a long time (about 1 hour or 2 non-stop), but when I finally click STOP & type a name for the file & click SAVE, I get a message saying "Unable to open video". Why is this happening? It's like I can't record anything for a long time. If I record something short (a few minutes) then everything works fine; I can save the video clip and then watch it.

Can someome explain how to record something for 1-2 hours?

how do you make the pencil come up like in your recent videos?it can highlight and stuff?how you do it?

any tips on the audio settings? i have been using this software for a while now and the audio skips during my videos...watch one of my hot-to videos on my channel and tell me what u think the problem is
