Consecutive kite-fliying and a skateboard

My nephew and niece came to do a kite-flier.

That is terrible news. My father and I use to build huge kits from old News paper and wooden dowels. And had to use nylon string on a open face fishing real to hold them. We spent hole weekends flying them. Even received an electric shock once.

It is a tradition of Japan that flies kites at New Year's holidays.

However, it became rare to watch such a scene under the influence of the declining birthrate recently ....

It was just me that received the shock. It was not a big jolt. But enough to make me stop flying so high. We made really big kites that allowed one to go really really high and still see them. Had to use nylon cord to fly them. Tail was made of a small dog chain. Like pulling in a huge fish.
