Africans can redeem control over their land and resources by accumulating and ministering capital, organize industry catering to under-served [low -income i.e the global majority] markets by way of commercial enterprise in the form of :
Social Enterprise --(Social Programs that are turn into businesses)
Small and Medium Enterprise -- (Businesses that use a franchise model)
Co-operative Corporation -- ( Integrates: credit unions, worker co-op and R&D)
In this way Africans can be self-reliant.

ManWithGoodHands is correct in saying that certain morals transcend cultural boundaries. We must affirm this if we are compassionate human beings; the alternative is apathetic nihilism. But it is true that white people have contributed to much of the suffering currently ongoing in Africa; it is not that Africans are saints, but that Europeans have behaved no better, and have therefore worsened war, slavery, tyranny, and poverty in the continent. We are only starting to repay that debt.

Never knew how many problems having "bad" cholesterol could cause. I guess I knew it could cause heart disease but developing diabetes was not something I had ever thought about. Last year my levels were way up (192) and my triglycerides were around 450, my doc told me of the risks. I had to do something, thankfully found Sterolyn. This is a formula I can actually feel good about taking.

there is an idea on how to stop our looting goverments all over africa...the time we spend crusifying them should be spent giving them awearness..it is difficult to let them see our pains while they sit on thier thrones,we all should stand up to make our awearness aweared, let us make it a mandatory thing to stand on there gates on daily basis to peacesfully send them the message of hope and hoping at the same time they will see our message..they are humans they have hearts,it can be reached..

I dream that one day Nigeria will be good to bring back all Top Nigerian Professional helping other countries. It is indeed called brain drain but our problem is not only caused by white people rather we are suffering from very very bad governance. our leaders are all crooks. Just take a look at what happened with Russia and how they came back much stronger economically. They rejected hand outs but decided to rebuild their country. It is about pride which we haven't got but only to loot.

Excellent talk. One day, I hope to contribute to health care in Africa with my time and money.
ultraworshit: I won't say I want you to die; but, when you do, I hope it's slow.

No... morally backwards is not relative. Certain MORALS are universal and transcend cultural boundaries. Morals are not to be confused with cultural norms, customs or traditions. Morals include those acts that are universal such as murder (aside from war), rape, corruption, lying, stealing, etc. These acts are not valued by ANY culture regardless of their context.

Simply brilliant. North America could apply some of this. Now.

I really want to go back home to africa and work in the health care sector once i finish my training... but during my latest trip back home i got the overwhelming sense of despair and hopelessness from all, including doctors, in the the health care system, the government and the potential for radical change. this is what hurt me most. change is vital at the most fundamental levels of mindset to rally the masses for real sustainable change, i think.
