Does the 1925 black and white version of Phantom of the Opera has a background music or it's a completely silent film?

some versions of it have music in the background- the most common one has got classical music, which is the one mostly found floating around in the internet

nope, this is the silent version made in 1925. No talkies back then, not until like the 30's.

Not in the first 2 releases (1925 and 1929), but when talking movies were introduced, some voiceover work was done and at the third release, the whole film had talking parts (although some scenes were removed in order for that to be done).
