@HEY8461 Not sure where you're getting your info but Nikon lenses are the same if not more expensive than the Canon equivalents. And at least all Canon EOS lenses since about '88 have had autofocus, can't say that about Nikon.

My 1D Mk IIn had 550K shots on the original shutter when I had it replaced.

@dentrezz These shutters last for about a million frames in a lot of cases. So yea, it'd be a while.

@rabbyph I've bought/sold many 1D's now that have had more than 300k on them. They don't just stop working at 200k.
