  • It is easy to see, if you read all of Romans 11, that the main problem Paul had was in converting non-Jews. The main theme throughout Paul's letters is finding a way for his gentiles to worship with Jews. It came to a head when Paul was summoned to the council of elders in Jerusalem and they agreed upon four laws that new converts must do; do not eat anything strangled, do not eat anything offered to idols, do not drink blood, and abstain from sexual perversions. This is found in Acts.

  • Why not check out Romans 11. If Israel is the natural olive tree and you are a gentile grafted into that tree, then if He set aside Israel He set you aside, also.

  • The lettering on the ark behind me spell out, in Hebrew, "Torah Orah" which is Torah is light. Thanks for bring my attention to my video. I watched it again and did not notice that I have a moving star of David on my forehead. Rabbi Whalen

  • They are still hypocrites. So Is everyone else... All fall short..... Jesus died and freed us from the flesh. The law becomes a symbol to mesianics that serves as a distraction to get your focus from Christ, and to partake lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life. How many pilgrimages have you yourself made to Jerusalem for the passover Rav? If your answer not correct then you have transgressed the law as issued by a rav. (nothing more than a man).

  • @RabbiWhalen

Judging from the number of congregations Paul founded among the nations and the testimony of Acts 28:28-29, it appears the main problem Paul had was convincing Jews to accept Y'shua as Messiah.

Also, meaning no disrespect, but, if you continue reading, Matthew 23:8 renders "Messianic rabbi" an oxymoron.

    Y'shua bless you

  • @uoitofsogroj Your argument is irrelevant. We both know he didn't only speak Greek. Besides I'm only pointing out the fallacy of your "Big Secret".

  • @hillbillybushcraft

The Greek New Testament is valid. It contains the words of Jesus Christ exactly as He spoke them. Do you think Jesus Christ said: "I am the ALPHA and the OMEGA" in any other language than Greek?

  • I have to respectfully disagree. Mathew was written in Hebrew and I think maybe you are reading from a post Greek translation as do I. And it should be obvious as to why the Greek translators would have changed that verse. I'm sure there was some arm twisting on the Pharisees part. But in the original Hebrew what Christ is saying is DON'T do what the pharisees say you do what Moses said!! See if you can get your hands on a pre Greek translation and let me know if that is correct. God Bless

  • A messianic jew is still a jew in bondage. Come out from among them and be ye seperate. In Christ there is neither jew nor gentile but a new man.

  • this vid is somewhat simplistic. You cant accept that God made something new at Pentecost?

The Rabbis did not recieve the outpouring of the HOly Spirit, as the disciples did.

The 11 apostles are equal prophets to abraham or Moses: God made a new thing at pentecost.

  • 3). When Y'shua spoke to His disciples in Matt 23, it was before His sacrifice, and so the Levitical priesthood was still in operation. Now, on the other hand, the ''Jewish'' religious system is no longer valid. However, we differentiate between moral law and ceremonial law. The moral law of Moses, as the Protestant Reformers taught, still stands. And thus, we have the New Covenant. Praise Yahweh our Triune Elohim :)

  • 2). Thus it is written: “Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the people received the Law), what further need was there for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be designated according to the order of Aaron? For when the priesthood is changed, of necessity there takes place a change of law [Torah] also" (Heb 7:11,12).
