@Sexandtoast I am not a die hard liberal, but I am closer to the jackasses than the dumbos. However, my political views are dwarfed by my love of humanity and any DECENT person should feel the same. I was very saddened by his cancer recurrence and his death. He was a good guy.

Snow did not have a half an ounce of hate, he might even find this amusing if not beneficial. Tony was the opposite of most idealists, he would think about the other point of view, recycle and then tell why he thought you were wrong or right and then he would always do it with a smile, grace and respect.

. Wittumy, being a liberal is not harder than being a conservative. I live in NYC, I know. So stop trying to portray yourself as being "above" the vagabonds. There is no need to point out that you are NOT going to insult someone.
But I do agree that we need to look past the politics and into the person.

randy...you just need to expand what you read. The past seven years I've been called names way beyond civil..because I opposed the Iraq war. If you guys expected all of us who've had their patriotism, honesty and courage questioned on a daily basis to play nice...you've made just another poor judgement. I've already spoken against the trash these people are saying. Read some comments about the Dixie Chicks, Russert or the Iraq war and you'll find plenty of assholes on the conservative side.

Unfortunately Wittumy, your comment does not hold the test of fact. Yes there are evil ignorant people across the spectrum, but I can tell you that the comments from liberals go way beyond what is civil and they are much more numerous then those posted by conservatives.

Thank you Tony even in death for showing us through their comments posted here, how truly evil, petty and lacking in any moral fabric, liberals really are. Thank you. A beautiful person has gone to God. I praised Tim Russert who was a democrat for the person he was. These comments truly display to me why I am so proud to be a conservative.
