@rangelso There is autospoiler, it's not a switch, it's arming them so they come up when the maingear is down.

@rangelso That thing is called a FLAPERON! It functions as both an inboard aileron and forms part of the flap. When the flaps are up it fits flush with the trailing edge of the wing and it droops down when the flaps are lowered. It also moves with the control wheel as can be seen in this video. Large control wheel inputs are happening here so the flaperon is providing extra banking force to correct the aircrafts attitude. I work on 777's at British Airways' Engineering.

JAL?? Japan airlines?

I love the 777's I flew on one from British airways from Newark-London, I was a little bite disspepointed since on the way to NYC we flew to JFK on A 747 400, and I tough that they used that one to on Newark-London.
But 777's is a beuatiful aircraft :D 5 star on this one

Your response is mostly correct, however, most commercial jet pilots "arm" the speedbrakes before landing. This is done simply by moving the speedbrake lever into the armed position. As long as the throttle is at idle at the moment the plane touches down, the speedbrakes automatically come up.
Check out this photo of the Boeing 777-200ER's throttle quadrant and you will clearly see the "armed" designation below the speed brake lever.

very pretty area

NO! Oh my god there is autospoiler.
You pull the spoiler lever to about 1/8 of the way and when you land it will go up automaticly.
And there is a nob for autobrake either beside the co-pilot's EICAS or on the throttle qudrant.
I'm assuming you've never met a pilot and been in the cockpit before.

there ain't no autospoiler switche in a cockpit, autobrake is for spoilers and wheels
autobrake is for wheels and autospoiler is for spoilers

It's called speedbrake lever and is located usually on throttle quadrant. The knob is called autobrake switch and is usually located on aircraft's CFP (Center Forward Panel). No such thing as autospoiler switch or lever in a cockpit. I don't need to be a pilot to know this.
