I cannot believe that 20 years have gone by since this aired. This scene was all about what hadn't been said for years. How many of us wish that we'd said or done something similar for someone we loved in the past? I enjoyed David and Maddie's love because it was complicated and real. Even more real than anything on reality TV. I miss characters such as these.
