The funny thing is that Kimi was the best when he was in F1 and Seb is the best now. It's NOT just the car. He's pure driving class.

vettel is like kimi, but kimi is much more mature
i guess its the scandinavian countries..

Most lap of the season on first position, I don't know whether it is a reason to call him " mature " but I don't say that he isn't. We can't really deny to this words from Fernando about Kubica, he is bloody fast, and makes least mistakes of all from the nowadays pack.

@5950ziel You could say that Sebastien Loeb would be great. Maybe, maybe not. Most probably, he would be great. But he's not in F1 so we have to wait till he is... Robert may drive an F1 car this year or never... FA says Robert is the best. And FA is not an idiot. Then again, maybe he doesn't want to say he's the best and he doesn't want to say that some of his current competitors is the best. With SV's profound improvement in 2011 over 2010, he's already brutally mature for his age.

@5950ziel Look, we're not talking about people who are not in F1. Especially people who are not in F1 due to their own driving error.

turkey 2011 FP don't know 1, 2 or 3 crashed
canada , wall of champions, crashed
Kubica wouldn't do that, there's the difference

@5950ziel Already in Turn 4, Vettel's car went substantially wider than Jenson's. Jenson's car was too much better (not because of tires, I made a mistake there) at that point for Sebastian to achieve a 1+ second gap at the DRS detection point (his gap at the start of the final lap was 0.667). So he tried to push harder than possible and went too much into the wet spots. But if he didn't, he'd be passed no matter what. The gap was under 0.5 s just before the slide.

allright, anyway Button's canada overtake on Vettel was caused by pure mistake by Vettel
jajajaj, and that's it : P

@5950ziel If the actual car disadvantage is beyond the point of the possibility to maintain the position using standard procedures (due to the specific track layout etc.), extraordinary/risky/uncertain stuff HAS to be done. And then, whatever happens is a matter of good luck more than anything else (or fate for people who believe in things like that). Skill only applies to near-the-edge driving. If skill could be used for beyond-the-edge by someone, that person would be unbeatable.
-
@5950ziel If Lewis FINALLY gets his brains together, he'll be fine. He's always been fast, he's too frequently acted stupid. But Sebastian has it all. He kicked ass in 2004, when he was 16, he was 2nd in 2009 (and was actually "almost close to winning the title"), he won in 2010-11, and his car designer is the single best ever. Anything can happen, but SV is a definite favorite for e.g. 2012-2020. Also, driver mistakes can only be judged properly while considering the circumstances.

mistakes aren't about driver skill ?
ooooraaaajt, if you say that he is the best because he gets pole position and win the race from start to the finish, I can agree
I just don't want to judge too fast, he is outstanding driver, no doubt about that, but don't be woooow, we can see Hamilton smashing 2012 season ( we know he is capable to ) so, then we gonna say this words about him ? what all was saying about Hamilton in 2007 ? oooh, he is superstar, calm down : P
