Jake, our son, was given a 4th grade assignment to tell some facts about Abraham Lincoln, in a Wax Museum setting. When studying facts about Lincoln this last weekend, Papa was over for dinner. He said, "Jake, if you REALLY want to make a statement, you should recite the Gettysburg Address". We Googled this speech, and watched the animatronics of the Disney version of Abe Lincoln giving this speech. It was a very scary task for a 9 year old, but Jake said, "Well, in this family we ALWAYS give it 110%, so I'll try". I think you'll agree, this little boy has learned more from memorizing this AMAZING speech than just reciting a few facts about this incredible president, Abraham Lincoln...Enjoy! Thanks for NUDGING and encouraging him to do this Dad...Love One VERY Proud Mommy!
