  • @MsNickie1001 Hi. I'm a Gerontology major in Florida. I really would like to work in a hospice when I graduate. What kind of jobs or positions are available for my field?

  • What a great vdeo. It depicts the right of the patient and what they choose, rather than what family members may choose.

  • Con't: Hospice is a wonderful organization, and each Hospice agency is a little different. My friends admire what we do, and my church gives to Hospice. I have never had a job I love more. I beleive that nursing is 50% knowledge and 50% compassion. That's what Hospice is about, compassion. I appreciate this video.

  • I am a Palliative arts practitoner. I would rather live well, than live long, if I am forced to make a decision. Living long with multiple uncurable health problems is no quality of life.

I have had two patients "recover" and survive well, due to Hospice care. We are NOT the Angels of Death. Unfortunately, a lot of Doctors seek invasive and agressive treatment of the infirmed elderly for the money, and this is shameful. Helping patients die with dignity is our responsibiblty. Thanks!
