There's nothing we can do to change the past, only to try and fix the future from the mistakes that the ignorant generations made before us. They're not going to just pull the plug on heat, power, stop driving cars. The world would come to a halt. No one would know what the hell to do, YOU would not know what to do. We've been accustomed to the comfort of living our entire lives, to back track to living in the woods and off the land after our ancestors raped it? Good luck to us all.

That's a pretty racist thing to say. It's things like that that get make no progress in the world. I'm white, my grandparents emigrated here around the early 1900's. If you think of the industrial revolution and the pollution it created, and the ignorance of mankind throughout the last few centuries, we've finally gotten to our generation.
Your ancestors were exploited, Europeans exploited your land; there's nothing that you nor I have done to prevent that.
