Makayla is trying to teach herself piano by ear.

Makayla loves everything music! She is in voice lessons, has taught herself guitar quite well from the internet (with help from her Nanny and Mom) and is now trying to learn piano. She just listens to the songs and finds them on her keyboard by ear. These are pieces of When I Look at You and Mine. I have had a few ask to see her on piano. We are hoping to get her in lessons eventually. Anytime you want to find Makayla you just need to look around the house and tehre she'll be playing or singing or writing. It is definitely a passion!

You should post a youtube video about how to sing!!!!!! please :( I really was nto learn how to sing. I sound horrible. Is there anyway to sing if you are REALLY shy to sing?

@pianogirl202 I don't think I can. I think it comes from your heart and from lots of hard practice. I take lessons every week and sing and play 5 days a week for an hour a night, just because I love to do it. I bet if you looked hard around youtube you may find some tutorials from people far more qualified than me! I am a VERY shy person. I sang in front of people 2 years ago for the first time ever! I don't think I will ever lose that shy nervous feeling. It's just me!

Great job!... This video is not hiding your voice behind a bunch of reverb and echo.

You have the texture and tonality in your voice to be a big star... Its all about refining your projection... Remember to take as deep, expand your chest fully and as you sing out keep your chest expanded. That forces you to sing with your diaphragm and gives you the largest possible resonance chamber for vocal texture.. OUTSTANDING VOICE.. Cant wait to see where you take it :) Believe in your self, no fear

@compman67 Thank you soooo much for such nice and helpful advice. I find it very hard to sing like this without a mic in my hand and music on because I feel embaressed but I am always happy with how it sounds when I am done. Have a great weekend!

@pianogirl202 I myself used to be really shy to sing. I would only sing when I was home alone. I then joined my school's auditioned traveling choirs and it skyroketed from there. I now sing at every family occasion and basically every chance I get. Just practice in front of ur mom and go from there. :)
