Cure Over The Top Golf Swing

This is one of the Best golf drills to correct an Over The Top golfswing.
It helps a student feel a more shallow or flatter downswing.

@jamiemcshafto you can come "over the top" of your backswing and still drop down onto a good plaane at impact a la ben hogan or matt kuchar, however these player will still strike the ball 'from the inside'. You could hit 4 or 5 yard slices by only coming slightly ott with a club face square to the target or close to square, with which it would be easy to become a single fig golfer but you may limit yourself in going very low hcp wise.

does coming over the top always end in the slicing?

I took a video of my swing and I come over the top at the top of my swing, but the weird thing is the ball goes fairly straight it may be a 4 or 5 yard fade but nothing drastic, by the way my handicap is 9.
