@JTMC yeah, they did remove the center resonator only. I was told by a member in xoutpost.com that my 4.6is engine is non-valvetronic so it won't make the same sound like the 4.4 and 4.8 like yours. I wish that I've known that so I didn't have to go through it. it's ok. lesson learned. Sorry about the multiple messages. i dont know what happened!

@JTMC: I just got the Magnaflow X-pipe installed this afternoon. A little disappointed because it sounds the same when it had the resonator. Can't figure out why it does... got any ideas?

@wilsun - I dunno but the 4.6 and 4.8 use the same mufflers but they are two different engines. Oh, the shop did remove the center resonator right?

dude, that's awesome, man. i'm planning on x-piping my 4.6is this coming weekend. which brand x-pipe did you install? did you do anything else with the exhaust? Thanks, man.

@wilsun MagnaFlow X-pipe. Everything else is stock and sound is just right.
