Michelle's Belly Session.. she was nervous, her third little boy, Orion, was scheduled to be born like his brothers by C-section. She saw my photo hanging at Becoming Mothers, and she wanted this photo to hang on a wall in her home. A symbol and reminder of the joys from each of her pregnancies.
She was 9 months pregnant in these photos.
I love to photograph pregnant women in water. It is such a natural place for them to feel connected to their bodies. As the fabric wraps around their beautiful curves, I let my camera dance in my hands.
"Oh My God! I just looked at my belly photos and they are so incredible! The amazing thing is that I went through them and thought, that's my favorite. Then I keep seeing different things that stand out in each one. They are all my favorites! You are amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you."
