Omps1976: while I agree wholeheatedly BMW builds a very nicely finished bike-- you probably should have taken a test RIDE on the Kawasaki, instead of judging it solely on your "fashion sense", Its truly a very competent motorcycle. I've got over 16k on my 2008 C14. The friends I ride with own everything from Ducati to H-D. Best compliment I ever got was from a R1 rider- who said "looking in my mirrors, I thought it was a SCOOTER-- but, DAMN-- I couldn't shake it!"

I dont think it has so many features and a ZX 1400 powerplant. Not to mention forever lasting drive shaft, .

It all boils down to what you as a rider prefer. You can read article after article that says this or that but when it comes down to it - you have to live with what you buy. If you like the look over something else then by all means BUY IT. I have heard that bike loyalty happens with brands and a lot of people don't like to switch once they're accustomed to a brand's qualities. Stick with what you like in a brand and don't listen to anyone tell you otherwise. They're not the one riding it!
