Nutritionist, mom and pregnancy wellness guru, Latham Thomas talks about how eating protein snacks and maintaining a healthy blood sugar level throughout the day can help eliminate morning sickness and nausea. Her solution is to always keep a little bag of trail mix in your bag -- she calls it the Pregnancy Pantry To-Go.

Her trail mix snack includes the following ingredients, but feel free to add and subtract ingredients:

Dried pineapple - digestive enzymes
Dried apple- pectin which helps with digestion
Pumpkin seeds -- zinc which is important for early fetal development
Papaya -- digestive enzymes
Cashews -- high in protein and good fats
Pecans -- high in protein and good fats
Raisins - sweetness
