Mr Jan Gabriel has passed and now is Heavens Speedways new announcer.
Gods speed Jan, take care of Santa Fe Speedway and Raceway race track up there.
We all will turning in our tickets to those special Speedways, someday !

True Legend. I loved this guy. DJ Bobby D used to use his voiceover during his intro in his mixes back on B96. His phrase "Bobby D, Set The Night On Fire!" Love that and "Sunday Sunday Sunday." R.I.P. Jan Gabriel

Awesome video, brought tears to my eyes.
I remember calling Jan to request a song to be played. He always said something like "Checkin out now, Chawsone." I also remember the phrase, "This is Cosmo Courier, with the News"

I currently work at WJOB and this is so cool to see the old photos of the radio station. Plus seeing the promo poster with Jan's name and the station was awesome.
