All I can say is wow. Everyone got what they wanted. The table people got to order the expensive bottle and feel elite. You two got to savor the great wine. I don't know that they would have enjoyed the proper bottle any more. Wolfeman

What a great story and what a great wine and food mentor. I almost got the message, never order fine wine from a french restaurant hahah. He sounds like he was a great person to know.

@astroman2112 Michel built a wine cellar with over 65,000 bottles of some of the greatest storied vintages of wines every collected. An incredible collection that was unfortunately, after his death, largely broken up and sold off.

Wonderful magic moment. What I think we all learn at various stages is that it is most often the simple human exchanges that we have that really impact us.
