To get the low end and the growl without the fizz, who have to design the amplifier to saturate the signal while pouring in the right amount of capacitance and resistance to control the (Frequencies) that you want to amplify. Highs, Mids, Lows, subs. And do that without it sounding muddy. Now, you understand cost. It also has much to do with the players hands... , single coils, humbuckers, or active preamped pickups.

Great Tone! I'm thinking about getting an Egnater Renegade. Currently playing a Mesa, but just looking for a change. Nice guitar chops by the way!!!!

You'd be wrong with that guess. :o(

hmmm, guess that tone you cannot get with the Axe FX :o)

how would you compare and rate the seminar head versus the CAE units?
OH WOW! Just about perfect tone in my opinion. What are your Amp settings?

Was your Egnater seminar amp based on one of the mojo marshall kits?

Slighty, Bruce changes the layout quite a bit.

Mark - I just had to watch this again, Damn that thing just growls! I'm still confused by why some high gain amps can get that growl while others don't sound that huge. And there's no fizz to that gain at all which is amazing. I know you said you use active pickups, but do I also need a lot of volume to get that sound?

Where you at NAMM? I had it there and it sounded great even at low volumes, I did use my pedalboard with it though.
I prefer my OD100se+ at gig volumes.
