Re: Virginia Death Note Suspension

This is my personal response to the Virginia Death Note news report that I recently watched on the YouTube. I'm basically expressing that I think the school board people are way too old fashioned, and act like they've never watched anime before, and that I think that they shouldn't immediately assume that someone will kill a person whose name is written in a Death Note.

I had a Death Note once.... The only name that came true was Micheal Jackson, but the way I imagined his death was far more different than how he really died. No offense to the jackspn lovers out there

Think about it, his death note was like a dairy and he wrote in it that he didnt like these people. That doesnt mean you can suspend the kid! People just dont get it, his death note wasn't real. So he was doing no harm to anyone what-so-ever, it was his way of expressing his anger without hurting anyone. Now I have never met him so I dont know if he had a mental problem and thought that it would work to kill the people he wrote down, but still any sensible person would have done it for release.

Um, sweetie, this is obsessive, you shouldn't be writting names down in books. They don't know if the child was actually killing these children. I LOVE DEATH NOTE, but thats a little wild. Suspension isn't as bad as expulsion.

One thing people should realize is that even if Death Note>>Anime/Manga/Live Action was never made. And no one have a clue what a death note is. There are just some individuals who would still go around trying some form of curse on people they hate.Voodoo dolls and the such. So Death Note is just another way to put it out there and to be suspended is pretty extreme. Maybe getting reprimanded or have a talk with is Ok but suspension is overdoing it sometimes.

i think it's funny that everyone on youtube goes "OMG those ppl are SO stup3d, itz just a anime!" when not a SINGLE person has said a fucking thing about China outright banning the cartoon/comic entirely for the same reason
