My trip to Toronto, Ontario in July 1974 by train from Buffalo, NY. Shots include the construction of the CN Tower, Toronto City Hall, Ontario Place, the CNE Grounds, IMAX Theatre, and a quick tour of the Toronto Harbor by tour boat. Finally, some inside shots of the Union Station in Toronto. Stayed at the old Seaway Hotel on Lakeshore Blvd at that time, so a couple of inside hotel room shots are included.

Film was shot on Super 8mm film and thus is a SILENT FILM, no audio on this at all.

  • Gary, that was a great video! It brought back A LOT of memories for me to see the 'old' Toronto (I am a Torontonian btw). Hope you liked our city and come back anytime.

Thanks for the trip back to memory lane, again super video.

  • @cheeriosinabowl I'm glad you liked it! Part of the video, especially shots along Lake Ontario and Ontario Place, and now in a music video a former resident of Toronto (now living in London, England) asked to borrow. Look for nohypeofficial or something like that, and you will see small snippets of it. Hope you look for the other videos I shot showing the Kawarthas, Bobcaygeon, and Peterborough too! :)

  • Very cool seeing BCT while it was operational. I've been there several times to see it in its abandoned state. Great video!

  • @motionblurstudios I'm from Buffalo, so I need to know...what is BCT? Thanks for your other comments about the video!
