Im sure its because the program you are using cross fader is set to the middle. The recorder isnt bypassing the programs cross fader and recognizing your real cross fader. I record to a program called Sound Forge by Sonic Foundry. Then when I want to break up the tracks I use Cool Edit Pro. Hope This Helps Bruh.
