Do you know God very well? Do you know him really? If your answer is yes, then the God you know is not God. We can sense God...only glimpses of what He is, but God remains hidden because we don't have the capacity to know him 100%. Never.

And like an architect that makes drawings, where the carpenter must ask the designer the meaning of his drawings, Christians must also ask God first the meaning of his words, not make personal interpretations, like what most pastors do.

    Part 6

That is why is we look at these fundamentalist pastors, who is in the center of their worship? God? no, but the bible and the interpretation of the pastor. It is he or she that is the center and not Christ.

Even the and dating daan is committing idolatry because he cling to much to himself.

This is why Jesus was mad at the Pharisees. They were arrogant. Yes, they read the scriptures but manipulate it to their own selfish ends.

    Part 5

Again, reading the bible is not a bad thing at all. In fact, we can sense God's majesty by reading it. But humans have the tendency to be arrogant and thought they know God by just reading the bible.

This is the reason why there are so many pastors making their own churches, making their own interpretations, yet all of them commit idolatry because in effect, they don't worship God, they worship their own creation of God.

    Part 4

So, when you worship a cow, like the Hindus do, or a cat or a worm, you are committing idolatry. But when you read the Bible and you manipulate the words into to your understanding, you also commit idolatry because it is your version of God that you are worshiping.

This is why Jesus was mad at the Pharisees. But the Pharisees were also experts of scriptures, so how can Jesus be not on their side?

    Part 3

Its like an architect who designed a house. All of the things you can see in that house, you can sense the creative genius of the architect, but none of those things in the house is the architect.

So, when you lift a thing, a person to God, that is not idolatry because you are just affirming his omnipotence. But when you reduce God into something that you can manipulate, then you are committing idolatry....

    Part 2.

Like what scriptures said (not in verbatim) "I can sense God in creation, but not in creation is God". That passage has multiple meanings, one is that we can sense God and his majesty in all things that we see, not only in the scriptures. To reduce God and his majesty into a few pages of a book is an insult to his very being. It also means that God is so vast and so mysterious that our human mind cannot fathom. We must accept that fact......

  • @mikeammot

Reading the Bible is indeed not idolatry. But reading it wrongly and making personal interpretation without careful thought leads to idolatry.

Idolatry simply means bringing God down into a level of human understanding, manipulating it to personal ends. That is why in the Old Testament, Jews were forbade in making "idols" because people in the ancients then have a warped idea of what God is. They manipulate God into forms or ideas that is not Gods

    .......

  • @archgin742000

it is not an idolatry to know God through the Bible.. if there are no Bibles, what are the references of the other Christians in the world??? or are you saying that it should be thought orally??? of course i know that you are just lazy to read the Bible.. so don't say that knowing God through it is an idolatry... and the way you speak, everybody will think that you are not even a Christian... you are like the foolish followers of soriano of "ang dating daan"

  • sugpuin ang pagkalat ng YELLOW INFECTION!!

  • @TheEternalRider lol idiot whats wrong with choosing your own religion so what if he was a christian?
