  • windows vista WTF????

  • @redial19 That computer is nearly 3 years old. At the time Vista was the latest OS. I had no problems with Vista from the day I installed it. It ran fine. Vista X64 ran better than Windows XP 32 bit ever did in my on real world experience.

  • You would save a lot of money if you customize a pc on your own instead of buying it all at once??

  • @flamed65 I did customize my PC. I purchased each component and built the full computer myself. I don't think you can get any more customized than that.

And the statement that you can save a lot of money by building a custom PC is no longer true. However, you can get a much better system for about the same amount of money. The quality of the parts that you can buy off the shelf is much greater than anything Dell, HP, or any other PC company will sell you.

  • why did you get sli everything but one video card?

  • @icemen33 I purchased a second video card several months later. I just ran out of budget for this initial build. I didn't really need 2 cards at the time of the build anyway. The single card was more than capable.

  • ??? can it run mineswipper or pinball :D

  • Floppy who needs that xD

  • It depends on what you expect as far as performance, and what your needs are. My case, I had a laptop, so there would be no customizing. Others that have dells, HPs, etc. can only customize so much before they reach the limitations of the hardware. Because dell and HP and others don't use standard hardware, bolt patterns, connectors, etc. you can only upgrade them so far.

  • i like it :D

  • It isn't really any different than non-SLI memory. The chips are the same. I got these because they had the speed ratings that I wanted and they had the heat sinks on them and the price was right. Also, this memory can be overclocked a bit and is better quality than a value level memory chip. Sticking "SLI" on memory is more of a marketing thing than anything. It supposedly means it is approved by nVidia to work well in an SLI system.
