Ron Paul was on MSNBC news to respond to the Obama "Five Pillars" state of the economy speech. Dr. Paul spoke of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets - in direct contrast to President Obama's speech earlier that day defending government intervention and spending as a response to the current economic crisis.

  • The big difference here is Ron Paul actually thinks for himself and understands what he's talking about. Obama is just repeating what he is advised to say.

  • Ron Paul makes sense. I am going to his website and sign up to support him and send him some money.

  • Obama said innovation like 20 times..Innovate means think of something new...If you want to work you had better innovate because all the existing jobs have been sent over seas...anyone unemployed better dream up a new never before done occupation...

  • @governmentisamonster good choice.

  • Lets get it strait. Obama , Bush , Clinton , Bush....these guys are not DUMB to not realise that RON PAUL is right . People lets not be stupid to think that these guys in Washington are dum and they can not figure out whats going on. WITH THAT SAID.........why are they doing it though? Why do they perpesly inflate ...what is their goal. Are they looking for something like AMERO instead of a dollar. Who is playing this game with all of us.

  • hahaha that poll was completely irrelevant it simply showed the economic ignorance of the people and it seems herself judging by the defensive tone

  • i agree on the college student part. they should be paying us to go to college. lol. im broke from school

  • i voted obama...i wanna see more people giving him props for stopping the federal raids on medical cannabis. also ron paul is cool, whenever he disagrees with anything he lets you know straight up, while never coming across as being negative

  • Ron Paul Jesse Ventura 2012

  • The United States GDP per capita has been falling year after year. In 2008 we were third (even with the highest gdp) after having the first president in half a century to see a wage decrease over his presidency.

We're still ahead of most of the world, but if you don't notice them starting to overtake us, you are blind.

We're 15th in terms of social mobility, 37th for healthcare, 50th for life expectancy, and our college students are being eaten alive by exponentially rising debt.

    Wake up.
