If you ever asked yourself "am I exposed to electromagnetic radiation if I sit next to a WiFi router?" here is your answer.

WIFI router emits Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) when ever the wifi function is on.

    Thanks for your question!

In one of my newer videos I do that. But the levels that are measured in the metere are lower then in reality since the WIFI signal has several channels and the meter can measure one one.

can you try measure the radiation at 5 ft and 10 ft away from the source?

  • @008yc

    not always.

I suggest to minimize the use as much as possible.

We should be safe as long as we keep the cordless phone, cellphone and router 5 feet away from ourselves, right?

    thanks

  • @NoRadBlog

    ok thanx for the reply

I 'll use the on/off button on the router =)

The level is less but the cellphone emits RF EMR when you use it to talk. Smart phones emit RF EMR few seconds every minute even in standby mode. WIFI router emit RF EMR all the time.So the levels might be lower, but the emission time is all day long.

I hope this info is helpful.
